Cyber Essentials was developed by Government and industry to fulfil two functions. Firstly it provides a clear statement of the basic controls all organisations should implement to mitigate the risk from common internet based threats, within the context of the Government’s 10 Steps to Cyber Security. Secondly through the Cyber Essentials Assurance Framework it offers a mechanism for organisations to demonstrate to customers, investors, insurers and others that they have taken these essential precautions.

Collection, use and processing of your personal information
On some pages and sites, we collect personal information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. For registration to join our talent pools, we also collect information from your uploaded CV. Information collected by Alexander Mann Solutions may be combined with information obtained from other sources. We collect, use and process your personal information to provide certain services for you, such as responding to your questions, providing marketing information for you electronically in response to your requests and assessing your suitability for current or future roles. In addition to sending information you request, we may also use your personal information to communicate with you about other topics we believe may be of interest.

We keep track of the pages our customers visit by recording your IP address together with the date, time and duration of your visit. An IP address is an assigned number which allows your computer to communicate over the internet. Recording IP addresses enables us to identify which organisations have visited our site and to track which pages and services are the most popular so that we can improve our site. We do not match this information with any personal information you may provide through the forms on this site.

Opt-in / Opt-out electronic mail
Our electronic mail programme operates on an opt-in basis. You will receive regular electronic mail from Alexander Mann Solutions when you opt-in by providing your details via one of the registration forms on our website. Upon registration, the information you have requested will be sent by electronic mail and as frequently as it is produced or available. You will be able to opt-out of receiving further electronic mail by using the unsubscribe feature. We will provide you with a link to the unsubscribe feature in all our electronic mail.

EU-U.S Privacy Shield
In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Alexander Mann Solutions commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information. EU individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our Privacy Shield policy should first contact Alexander Mann Solutions at: email@example.com
Alexander Mann Solutions has further committed to cooperate with the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs) with regard to unresolved Privacy Shield complaints concerning human resources and non-HR data transferred from the EU.
- In Annex I of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework (https://www.privacyshield.gov/article?id=ANNEX-I-introduction), the Department of Commerce committed to facilitating the establishment of a fund into which Privacy Shield organizations will be required to pay contributions to cover the arbitral costs, including arbitrator fees, up to maximum amounts, in consultation with the European Commission. The International Centre for Dispute Resolution-American Arbitration Association (ICDR-AAA) was selected to administer these arbitrations and manage this fund. On September 13, 2017, ICDR-AAA began collecting this required contribution from organizations self-certifying to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield for the first time and these organizations will be required to pay the contribution before ITA will finalize their certification. On October 3, 2017, ICDR-AAA began collecting this required contribution from existing participants in the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield program and these organizations will be required to pay the contribution within 30 days. You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, for which the Recipients may charge a fee, and the right to ask the Recipients to correct any inaccuracies in that information, including deletion.
